MY DEAR WIFE

My name is Eric. I am from England. Today I'm going to talk about the woman I love. My dear wife. She is really a wonderful woman. She is always by my side.

One of these days I was at home with her. It was a bit late. It was late in the evening. We were about to go out. We had a party to go to. I was looking at her. She was there, choosing what to wear. She was in doubt. She was wondering what clothes to wear. She is a wonderful woman. I really love her. 

She got dressed. She put on a wonderful dress. She then put on her make-up and, finally, she brushed her long blonde hair. She then turned to me and asked... Do I look all right? And I said, "Yes, of course! You look wonderful tonight, my darling.

So, we went to the party. Everyone at the party turned to see. Everyone turned to see this beautiful lady that's walking around with me. I believe she was worried that I was not happy with that. So, she looked at me and asked... Do you feel all right? And I say, "Yes darling, don't worry! I feel wonderful tonight."

 Do you know why, I feel wonderful? I feel wonderful because I see the love light in your eyes. And I also see the wonder, the magic of it all. Then I asked myself.... Is that you that just don't realize how much I love you?

We stayed at the party for a long time. I drank more than I should. And then it was time to go back home. I'd got an aching head. I think my head was aching because I drank too much. I could not drive. So I gave her the car keys and she drove us back home.

At home she helped me to go to bed. I wanted to sleep. I was tired. And then I told her, as I turned out the light. I said... "My darling, you were wonderful tonight. Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight.
